A Taunton Transition Town member, Terry Peers, is part of a group of green-minded friends from Somerset, cycling to raise money for Chernobyl Children’s Project (UK) which helps children affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster 30 years ago.

On 25 June they will cycle from Dunkery Beacon on Exmoor, over the Quantocks via Will's Neck, across the Somerset Levels, to finish at Beacon Batch, the highest point on the Mendips. We hope the weather is kind to them! You can sponsor Terry here.
