Early Day Motion on Hinkley Point

A group of MPs, led by Newport West MP Paul Flynn, have slammed a plan to build the £25billion nuclear power station at Hinkley Point, as opposition to the Government's nuclear energy policy gathers steam. An Early Day Motion that calls the plan to build at Hinkley Point 'an act of desperation' has already been signed by 14 MPs.
