100% RENEWABLE ENERGY FOR THE SOUTH WEST

Monday 21st September saw a fascinating talk by Dr. John Green driving into some more detail on the report 'The Power to Transform the South West' which was commissioned by Molly Scott Cato MEP for the South West. A large and engaged audience at the Creative Innovation Centre heard about how the South West, and Somerset in particular, could go about producing over 100% of its energy needs from renewable sources. After the talk there was plenty of lively discussion about how the political will to acheive such a goal can be achieved.
